Witches, fairies, insects, animals, Hawaiian tourists, a skeleton, and even a bloody victim with a knife through the head all competed in this annual tournament sponsored by the women’s golf club.

Following the tournament, a festive awards luncheon was held at Steve’s Steakhouse. As always, the restaurant was perfectly outfitted with Halloween décor. All of the teams scores were very close. First place honors went to the team with Alison Osinski, Elizabeth Stewart-Madden, Sue Bray, and Annie Marshall. The Second Place team members were Ellen Hodge, Pat Hoefs, Phyllis Lorenzan and Olivia Gazis.

The Catalina Island Women’s Golf Club meets each Thursday morning at the Country Club pro-shop to arrange teams and learn about the game of the day. All women golfers, islanders and visitors, are welcome to come and play. Call the pro-shop for more information at 310-510-0530.
