The Santa Catalina Island Company will host the inauguaral Shipwreck Weekend 2013, a weekend-long party in Two Harbors from Friday to Sunday, March 22 to 24.
The event is the springtime counterpart to Buccaneer Days.
“We wanted to create an early spring live-music event that replicates the fun and excitement that October’s Buccaneer Days event has long brought into Two Harbors,” said Randall Herrel, CEO of the Santa Catalina Island Company.

The Santa Catalina Island Company will host the inauguaral Shipwreck Weekend 2013, a weekend-long party in Two Harbors from Friday to Sunday, March 22 to 24.
The event is the springtime counterpart to Buccaneer Days.

The party is set to begin Friday evening, March 22 at the Harbor Reef Saloon with a DJ and drinks, followed by a live band that will perform from 7 to 11 p.m.
Saturday’s events include a castaway costume contest, raft-building contest, treasure hunts and much more.
Visitors interested in outdoor adventures may visit the Two Harbors Recreation Center to rent gear for hiking, trail running, sea kayaking, snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding and fishing.
On Sunday morning, a breakfast buffet will be served at the West End Galley.
Moorings in Two Harbors are available based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cross-channel transportation is available from San Pedro aboard the Catalina Express, from Newport Beach on the Catalina Flyer or ride through Catalina’s Interior on the Catalina Safari Bus from Avalon. For more information about moorings, e-mail moorings@scico.com or call (310) 510-4253.
