Congratulations and many thanks to the cast and crew of the delightful theatrical performance of Neil Simon’s “Fools.” A special thanks to Sean Brannock for being a beacon of culture and expertise in this medium.
His production and direction skills are a gift to our community.
A thank you as well to the Catalina Island Company for consenting to allow the play to be presented in one of the most beautiful theaters in the world. I had not been inside the theater since its closure in December of 2019. It was very moving to be able to appreciate this iconic space for what it was made for and to feel it come alive, even briefly. Hopefully, this island treasure will hold future productions envisioned by Mr. Brannock. I urge the community to continue to come out in support of the talent of our own local people, not just on the stage, but behind the scenes that make it happen.
