Leo’s Catalina Drugstore and Catalina Island Health are thrilled to introduce pharmacist Lauryn Reinhardt to the Avalon community.
As its newest on-island pharmacist, Dr. Lauryn Reinhardt, PharmD, said she is proud to serve the Catalina Island community. She brings a diverse background in clinical pharmacy, compounding, and public health.
Reinhardt is an experienced pharmacist with a strong foundation in both hospital and compounding pharmacy settings.
She earned her doctor of pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in New York.
Her educational background also includes public health, economics and health outcomes.
After years on the East Coast, Reinhardt returned to California during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently she relocated to the island, where her brother helps run a local hotel. She’s excited to bring her expertise to Leo’s and the community.
At the center of it all, she is passionate about patient-centered care.
“We are so happy to welcome Lauryn to our team,” said Cameron Hubert, Catalina Island Health’s director of Retail Services. “In her short time here, she has demonstrated her knowledge, professionalism, and compassion. She is excited to be a part of our community and looks forward to meeting all of you.”
Outside of work, Lauryn enjoys quiet island life with her two spoiled cats, who made the move with her and are quickly adjusting to their new home.
Reinhardt is full time and can be found at Leo’s Catalina Drugstore throughout the week.
