On May 6, Avalon High School senior Danny Pedroza teed off with 90 of the top golfers around Southern California at River Ridge Country Club in Oxnard.
He had a tough day in the greens and shot a 9 over par 81.
The low round of the day went to Taehoon Song of Anaheim Discovery with a 7 under 65. It was quite the accomplishment for Danny to make the CIF Individuals due to the strength of our league. The Lancers will travel as a team this weekend and play Monday, May 13, in the CIF team championship in Fillmore.
