The Summer Kids Fishing Derby has started catching memories for young children and families. The fishing derby is every Wednesday in the Summer from 7 a.m. to 9 a.mm at the end of the green pleasure pier. Kids with the help of their parents use drop lines, poles and their sure joy to catch fish for prizes.
There are two categories in each age division: biggest fish, most fish caught. Children 10 and under and 11 to 18 can compete for the ribbons and prizes. This weeks winner’s were; 10 and under: Biggest Fish, 11 inches by Boone from Grass Valley and Most fish Caught, 6 by Ethan from Mission Viejo. In the 11 and over; the Biggest Fish, 13.5 inches by Katlin from Rancho Cucamonga, Most Fish Caught, 25 by Hayden from Rancho Cucamonga.
