It’s not too late to participate in the annual Pancreatic cancer fundraising swim on Saturday, Sept. 20. Meet at Casino Point no later than 6:45 a.m. for a group photo and sign-up. The recommended donation per swimmer is $30. Swimmers are encouraged to gather friends to sponsor their swim and to join the Catalina Swim Club for a potluck afterwards. If anyone is not up for the full 2.2 mile swim, feel free to just jump in, get wet, and participate in this fun and festive event while supporting a great cause. Donations can be via cash, checks written to PANCAN, or online at PANCAN.ORG.
