It was a picture perfect Two Harbors Day Saturday June 21, 2025 for the annual Catalina Island Company/Catalina Lions Club Brew Fest. Barefoot dancers and a lot of happy beer samplers spent the afternoon dancing to the live band, snacking on the delicious food and tasting the many craft beers that were available. Join the fun next June 2026 for a great time and to support the Avalon High School Graduates.
This annual event is produced by the Catalina Island company with the Avalon Lions Club volunteers pouring beer samples for attendees. (Some sampling was necessary) The Avalon Lions Club Thanks the Catalina Island Company for the generous donation of $8,000 to the Avalon Club for helping with this event. This donation will help fund the Avalon High School Lions Club Scholarship Find. In addition, the Silent Auction by the Lions Club raised an additional $5,780 dollars for the Lions Club Avalon Scholarship Fund.
This event as always been a huge success for the attendees, the Island Company, and the Lions Club. Like most community events on Catalina Island there are many people who gave their time and talents to make the 2025 Brewfest a success. The Catalina Island Company, Director of Sales, Rudy Alverez was outstanding in the production of this event. The Avalon Lions Club Silent Auction was a huge success thanks to the thirty-seven Avalon Members of Love Catalina. These generous merchants always provide outstanding support to the Avalon Lions Community Fundraising efforts. A big thank you to Captain and Avalon Lions Member Nate Lins for the transportation on his beautiful boat, EPIC.
