Buck’s From Bobby, a local charitable organization, continues to provide opportunities for our local youth to expand their horizons. Just recently we sent 5 local boys to two different basketball camps in Southern California and the experience was fantastic for all five kids. The funds for the van, hotel, and camp were all provided by Bucks From Bobby. The kids paid for their boat trip and pitched in a little to help defray some of the expenses.
Jose Leonhardi, a local middle schooler, attended a five-day overnight camp at Occidental College, located in Los Angeles. This was a reward for Jose for serving as manager of the high school team this past season. In addition to Jose, Elijah Hernandez, Santiago Noriz, Jacob Tamayo, and Aiden Pacheco all attended a 3 day camp in Irvine. The camp served as a great way to prepare for the upcoming season and was a reward for their dedication to our program throughout the off season.
We are grateful for the opportunities that Bucks From Bobby continue to provide for our basketball program and we promise to represent Avalon in fine fashion this coming season.
