The May gray and June gloom continued into July, but I cannot think of an appropriate rhyming work to describe it! Suggestions welcome! The Fourth of July in 2024 fell on a Thursday, while this year the 4th fell on a Friday; however, this year saw less boats in the harbor; however the Harbor had an increase in mooring nights over July 2024.

Most notable was the tsunami watch, turned advisory, the evening of July 29. Additional Harbor personnel were called in to assist with preparing the harbor, and to notify boaters of the situation. We were all relieved that Avalon saw little to no effects.
