“The current water elevation at Middle Ranch Reservoir is 666.2 feet above sea level. This equates to the maximum storage capacity of Middle Ranch Reservoir, 1,053.58 acre-feet,” according to a Thursday, Feb. 14, statement issued by Southern California Edison.

The reservoir’s maximum capacity is 1,054 acre-ft.

An acre foot of water is enough water to cover one foot of flatland one foot deep in water.
