Recent visitors to Catalina sent in some photos and thoughts on their adventure to the island. Pat McNallen and Jennifer Mispagel, of Temecula, Calif., recently spent Valentine’s weekend on the island and shared a bit of their adventure with the Islander. They toured Avalon on a mapped out, self-guided golf cart tour and enjoyed a Wiki Wacker at Luau Larry’s Happy Hour. They stayed at Hotel Metropole and enjoyed dinners at Steve’s Steakhouse and Bluewater Grill. “The service was top notch,” McNallen said of all their accommodations. They definitely want to return, and soon, he added.
