The Avalon Tuna Club Foundation recently honored several Avalon organizations for their continued hard work, by distributing much needed funds for their causes. This year, Tuna Club Foundation President Doug Miller presented checks to representatives from Catalina Kid Ventures, P.L.A.Y., Rotary Club, Lions Club, Catalina Island Women’s Forum, Catalina Island Medical Center Foundation, Catalina Museum, Avalon Kids Baseball and Catalina Jr. Golf. Every August the Tuna Club Foundation hosts it’s Avalon Benefit Tournament and Auction. Over a million dollars has been donated to Avalon organizations during the past forty years. The Tuna Club Foundation would like to thank the Avalon Businesses who helped make our Auction a great success.
