The high school students at Avalon enjoyed their first prom experience in quite some time. It has been three years since the last prom, and this was one for the ages.
Everything got started with the Prom Walk at around 4:15 p.m. with students showing off their elegant dresses, tuxedos, and suits on the famous red carpet that lined the Green Pleasure Pier.
From the Prom Walk the students walked to the Toyon Grill where they enjoyed a wonderful dinner and danced the night away to the tunes of Ronnie the DJ. The kids behaved beautifully, and the Toyon Grill did a great job. It was a night to remember!
