Tanya Christine Beresov came to the Island in 1977 with her parents Yuri and Karen Beresov and sister Irene to open the family business, Catalina Bakery & Deli. After a few years, she moved back to the mainland…but eventually returned 10 years ago to the Island that she loved.
Tanya loved to be by the sea. She drove her golf cart to the water’s edge every chance she had.
Tanya is survived by her son, Mario “Sasha” Manti-Gualtiero, daughter Marian “Mimi” Rubio, her dog Tiger, sisters Lidia, Irene, & Efi and nieces and nephews.
We take peace in knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
A special thank you to Avalon’s wonderful Paramedics, Fire Dept. and hospital staff.
Tanya, memories of you will live on in our hearts forever.
