The Catalina Island Museum’s Silent Film Benefit was definitely a success. More than 800 people attended the benefit (the largest crowd the event has ever experienced) and a number of individuals took advantage of the half off admission for those in period dress. Laurel and Hardy were also in attendance and many benefit goers enthusiastically got their photograph taken with them. In the phogo, you can see Silent Film Benefit sponsor Michael Fields with Suzanne Sena and Laurel and Hardy look-a-likes.
