Kid Ventures pre-schoolers visit Avalon Station

Recently, the teachers at Catalina Kid Ventures were kind enough to bring 17 of their pre-school children to Avalon Sheriff’s Station for a visit.

The children were very interested in everything they saw and had a great time.

They were given a tour of the Dispatch Center, the Station’s Jail and a few children were able to sound the siren to a deputy’s jeep.

The children all received small gifts for being so well-behaved during their visit.  “I got the opportunity to meet and speak with each one of the children.  This is one of my favorite days of the year as it sets the foundation for many future positive interactions between ourselves and the youth in Avalon,” said Capt. Fetteroll.
