Sheriff’s Log: May 29 to June 4, 2019

Editor’s note: The following is the Avalon Sheriff’s Station significant incidents report for the week of May 29 to June 4, 2019. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Many people who are arrested do not get prosecuted in the first place and many who are prosecuted do not get convicted.

May 29

• Deputies arrested Heidi Wilson of Avalon on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The arrest occurred on Crescent Avenue and Whittley Avenue.

May 30

• Deputies responded to the 300 block of Clemente Avenue regarding a disturbance. Upon their arrival, the deputies learned two roommates were involved in an argument. One party will be obtaining a restraining order against the other.

May 31

• Deputies arrested Isaac Rios of Avalon based on a $15,000 outstanding warrant on suspicion of theft and for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of Metropole Avenue.

June 1

• Deputies arrested Jesus Meison of Avalon on suspicion of allegedly possessing a narcotic smoking pipe and being under the influence of a controlled substance. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of Metropole Avenue.

June 2

• Deputies conducted a probation search at 888 Country Club Drive. Deputies arrested Frankie Solorio of Avalon on suspicion of illegally possessing brass knuckles, several knives/swords, numerous narcotic smoking pipes, methamphetamine, and was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance.

June 3

• Deputies responded to the 200 block of Clarissa Avenue regarding someone trespassing on the property. Deputies found a homeless man sleeping on the property.

June 4

• Deputies received a call in the 300 block of Whittley Avenue regarding a landlord tenant dispute. The tenant is being evicted from the property. There were no crimes violated.
