Difficult weeks

The past few weeks have been particularly difficult for those of us in law enforcement.  We all chose to become deputy sheriffs for honorable reasons and are very proud of our profession.

Tragically, several fellow officers were killed in the past few weeks.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of those that were killed.

I would like to thank all of you who have made contact with a deputy to express your support for law enforcement, stopped by the station to drop off a token of your appreciation or publicly recognized our loss.

Believe me when I tell you how much every member of our station appreciates the opportunity we have to serve every member of this amazing community.
