Special Event Planning

This week, the Sheriff’s Department began planning for upcoming special events to be held in Avalon. We understand the importance of these events, the potential financial impact for the city, the businesses and the individuals that rely on tourism to support themselves and their families.

We also respect the concerns of those who enjoy the peace and tranquility here on the “Island of Romance.”

Our role is to do everything possible to ensure that special events are held with the highest regard and consideration for public safety while minimizing disruptions to those not participating in the events.
