As a long-standing tradition, the Avalon high school junior class
(photographed here) organized the 2023 prom. Attendees have their Prom Walk
on the red carpet down the Avalon Pleasure Pier where they historically
board a boat for the Prom onboard. This year the event was held at the
Wrigley Memorial, Botanical Gardens which were illuminated and included
catering, a dance floor, DJ, camera booths and heaters for a spectacular
magical evening.
