Thanks to the generosity of the Avalon Business Community the prize count and quality of the prizes for the 2018 Avalon Lions Club Christmas Raffle will set a new record.
Topping the 2018 list of prizes to be won is a six-passenger golf cart. The golf cart was donated to the 2018 Lions Club Raffle by Avalon Lion Conrado Vega of Catalina Island Golf Cart Rentals. There are cash prizes of $150, $125 and $100 available. A $250 gift certificate from Chet’s Hardware and $150 gift certificate from Twos Company are also going to be won.
Additional 2018 raffle prizes include a flat screen TV, hotel stays, gift cards from Avalon stores, a wall mounted fireplace and Bluetooth headphone sets. The Avalon Lions Club Members thank everyone for their support and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
Tickets for the 2018 Avalon Lions Club Christmas Raffle will only be available daily in the Post Office Arcade between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., until Saturday, Dec. 22. The prize drawing will be at noon on Saturday, Dec. 22.
Proceeds from the raffle go towards providing Christmas food baskets to Avalon Families in need. The Avalon Lions Club is a part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club organization in the world. For over 70 years the Avalon Lions Club has been helping make Avalon a better place to live. The Lions encourages Avalon residents who are interested in community service to join the club.
