Truly dumbfounded

I am not often surprised. I am older and have seen a lot of things that I have found odd. But upon reading your paper this week I was truly dumbfounded by the report that the city council was charging our restaurants rent for dining on the sand. Do these guys stay up at night dreaming up ways to squeeze more tax dollars from our wallets? At a time when Avalon’s business community needs help, they are facing yet another additional expense. Crazy!
