Throughout 2013, Catalina Express not only continues its Free Round Trip on Your Birthday promotion, but has launched the Avalon Centennial Planner filled with hundreds of dollars in savings that travelers can partake in any day of the year, regardless if it’s their birthday.
The planner is designed with themed quarterly offerings, giving travelers even more reasons to visit the Island year round. Each quarter, history, trivia, events, island secrets, deals, reviews, specials and promotions will be shared via Catalina Express’ website and social media channels.
Meanwhile, Catalina Express has already organized special rates and discounts for the time periods April through June, July through September, and October through December. For the current months they are offering packages including The Avalon Hotel’s “See the Stars Package;” Hotel Metropole’s “Centennial Golf Package” and Catalina Island Vacation Rentals’ “Hollywood Package.”
July through September check out the specials for Aurora Hotel and Spa’s “Island Outback Adventure;” Hermosa Hotel and Cottages’ “Action Package” and Casa Mariquita’s “Centennial Package.”
Just in time for the post-summer season when the JazzTrax festival is ready to return, from September through December guests can sample the offers in Hotel Villa Portofino’s “Fall Jazz Romance Package,” Hotel Vista del Mar’s “Centennial Special,” Snug Harbor Inn’s “Avalon Centennial Package” and Catalina Island Inn’s “Centennial Package.”

The packages coincide with the calendar of events planned for the Island this year.
