Jerry Dunn owner of Buoys & Gulls presented Gina Long from the Catalina Chimes Tower Foundation a check for $3,873 on Monday – donated from the sales of the “Avalon by the Sea” Reyn Spooner shirt.

Built in 1925 by William Wrigley Jr. and his wife Ada Elizabeth Wrigley, the Chimes Tower symbolizes the love of Catalina for both Avalon residents and visitors alike. The Catalina Chimes Tower Foundation was established to ensure that future generations will continue to experience the enchanting tones, as well as the beautiful structure that houses them.

The donation from the sales of the Reyn Spooner Shirt and Catalina Chimes Tower Christmas Tree Decoration at Buoys & Gulls will benefit the restoration and preservation of this beloved Avalon landmark.
