Dr. Aimee Warren has been caring for Island residents at Catalina Island Health for the past 10 years. With a busy family and a new opportunity on the mainland, she will be reducing her on-Island hours beginning mid-December.
Dr. Warren’s easy bedside manner, relatability, and patient-centered approach to lifestyle modification have positively impacted our Island community. On an individual basis with patients and through numerous Community Health Talks she has been able to educate and emphasize not only the physical aspects of health but also how one’s mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being affect the body. She has inspired and guided many to make simple shifts that have resulted in improved health and well-being.
“Her love for the Island’s residents is clear,” said Tim Kielpinski, Catalina Island Health CEO. “We are grateful for the compassion and professional care she has provided to our community. We wish her well on her new opportunity.”
Dr. Warren will remain a visiting family practice physician available for both clinic and Med-spa services on a limited basis. Her new schedule will be announced in January.
Previously, Dr. Warren served as chief of staff at CIH from 2016 to 2021. Since that time, she has maintained a regular schedule seeing patients a couple of days each week.
In addition to her time at the CIH clinic, she often asked to speak and teach about lifestyle, mindset, the power of habit, and the benefits of a plant-based, whole-foods diet for health, longevity, and for the environment. She is also the creator and editor of Cura Healing Magazine, a monthly digital publication dedicated to inspiring and empowering readers on their journey toward optimal wellness in mind, body, and spirit. A graduate of Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her residency at the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Warren is married to a Los Angeles County firefighter and they have two children.
