Catalina Island Health this week announced a new partnership with Dollar For to help patients better access financial help for their hospital bills. Through this collaboration, patients can apply for Charity Care, which can reduce or even eliminate medical debt for those who meet the income requirements.
CIH is committed to protecting not just the physical health of its patients, but its financial health as well. By partnering with Dollar For, CIH ensures that patients can access the care they need without the worry of overwhelming medical bills.
“We are here to support our community, and we want to be sure each person has access to the care they need,” said Jason Paret, Catalina Island Health CEO. “Partnering with Dollar For offers patients the opportunity to quickly and easily apply online for financial assistance reducing the stress and burden that often comes with medical bills.”
Dollar For makes it easy for patients to apply for financial assistance through its user-friendly online platform. Patients can fill out applications right from their phone or computer, upload required documents and submit everything directly to the hospital with just a few clicks. Dollar For’s dedicated patient advocates are available to guide patients through the entire process, answering any questions and ensuring that patients get the support they need.
