Due to increased demand, the Cyclone power boat has added evening runs between Avalon and Two Harbors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Since the Cyclone’s re-launch in May, ridership has increased 70%, as more and more Avalon locals and visitors are taking advantage of the opportunity to spend the day exploring Two Harbors after a narrated cruise along the Catalina coast.

The overland route to Two Harbors can take more than an hour by private vehicle and up to two hours on the Safari Bus. Guests on the Cyclone can be in Two Harbors in 40 minutes, giving them extra time to kayak, hike and bike the waters and trails of the west end. The new evening runs will also give Two Harbors visitors more time to enjoy a meal at Harbor Reef Restaurant or relax in a beachfront palapa at Harbor Sands.

Cyclone tickets between Avalon and Two Harbors are $15 each way. They’re available at the Green Pier, Two Harbors Visitor Services, or any other Catalina Island Company ticket booth. They’re also available online at VisitCatalinaIsland.com/THboat. Cyclone departure times are subject to change based on weather, conditions and availability.
