Catalina Island Medical Center hires a new doctor

Catalina Island Medical Center is pleased to introduce Dr. Aimee Warren, D.O. as the new permanent family practice physician for the Medical Group Office. “Dr Warren is a caring and compassionate healthcare provider,” said CIMC’s CEO Jason Paret. “She will be an outstanding addition to our medical team.” Dr. Warren is a graduate of Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and did her residency at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is board certified in Family Medicine and is an experienced primary care physician.

She has worked in private practice and also served patients as a staff physician at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego as well as Temecula Valley Hospital and Fallbrook Hospital.

Dr. Warren and her husband, a Los Angeles County Firefighter, have two young daughters, ages 2 and 5, and look forward to moving to Catalina Island this summer.

She visited the medical center in June and was so enthusiastic about Avalon that she brought her family back to the island for the July 4th weekend.

Her former patients describe her as “a rare kind of physician who tells it like it is but is very nice, knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner.”

Another patient shared, “I always feel heard and truly cared for. It’s weird to actually look forward to appointments with her.” Hospital administration, staff and those on the island who have met her look forward to welcoming Dr Aimee Warren and her family to Catalina Island Medical Center in September.
