Family and friends are grieving over the recent loss of our beautiful Ellen Shensky. Although Ellen was not born on the island, she was always a “Catalina Girl.” As a little girl, she grew up spending her summers with her grandparents, Charles and Mary Hite. In the last several years she lived in her house on Eucalyptus Avenue full time from May till September and could always be seen at her spot by the pier on the beach. She was also a member of the Catalina Ladies Golf Club.

Ellen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ed Shensky and is survived by her daughter and son- in-law (Cindy and Rod Michotte), her son and daughter-in-law (Scott and Jacque Shensky) and four grandchildren: Avery Bielstein, Scotlyn Shensky, Lake and Morgan Michotte. Everyone knew Ellen as a loving and caring person and she will be deeply missed by many.
