Avalon High School’s class of 2013 celebrated their matriculation on Thursday when they graduated. The ceremonies were highlighted by Valdectorian Brianda Gonzalez and the Salutatorian Nancy Valverde. Also of note was graduate Bryan Jimenez, who recently received a scholarship award from the Surfrider Foundation’s Huntington Beach Chapter.
