Members of the Avalon Rotary Club have generously donated to the Rotary Foundation, making them eligible for grant application.

In addition, local Rotarians Leslie Baer-Dinkel, John Friel, and Rita Whitaker completed the mandatory district grant training. Last year, the Rotary also received this grant and it provided round trip boat tickets and in some cases commuter books to many appreciative community members.

Local residents with a medical/surgical necessity on the mainland, will be screened by the social services and business office departments at Catalina Island Medical Center for eligibility.
