The Avalon Girls Volleyball team is off to a great season they are currently 32-4-1 and 4-0 in league. This team has had an amazing season with a 1st place tournament win earlier this year. They will be playing this Saturday against Calvary Chapel Downey as they try to win a league championship.
They are led by Virginia Soto, who is the setter. she is averaging 9 assist per set, 2.3 kills per set, 2.1 aces per set and 5.2 digs. Yuliana Vega leads the defense with 10.3 digs per set, 8.9 serve receives per set. Hannah Hoefs leads the team in kills with 3.3 kills per game 4.3 digs per set.
Giselle Alvarez is averaging 2.1 kills per game and 1.4 aces per game.
Daniella Moreno is consistent all around the court and is very consistent on offense and defense. Avalon Girls Volleyball is currently ranked in the Top 10 in the CIF Division 9 rankings.
