Smoke

During this training evolution we will be employing the use of a movie effects smoke generator. This device utilizes a water-based, non-toxic fluid and allows us to train with our equipment in an environment that poses no risk to firefighters or the public. It is the same type of device that is typically used in clubs, theaters, etc.

Closure

For this evolution we will have Beacon St. blocked between Claressa and Clementa Streets and apologize for any inconvenience it will cause. This type of training is invaluable for our personnel and allows us to be more prepared to respond to emergency’s that affect the city of Avalon.

Viewing

The public is welcome and encouraged to view the training operation away from the immediate area.
