April 28 is the Community Health Fair

Catalina Island Medical Center reminds you to attend the Community Health Fair on Thursday April 28 in the Casino Ballroom.

From 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. residents and visitors can experience new and exciting things.

Basic services are also freely offered.

Would you like to learn how to do CPR? Have you ever tried acupuncture?

How about a massage? Nutra, Inc will offer a taste of nutritious foods and smoothies.

Take home a Disaster Preparathon Emergency Backpack with a three-day supply of emergency items for a family of four for only $40.

You can save hundreds of dollars on blood tests ($25 each) to check cholesterol, thyroid, prostate and more.

The Medical Center will answer questions about medical services, telemedicine, therapy and wellness.

Other community groups will have information about events like “Relay for Life.”

It’s the one chance this year to get free or discounted health services in one convenient location.

Volunteers are still needed and contributions are gladly accepted.
