Monthly Avalon code enforcement reports coming to council
The Avalon City Council will hold a special meeting from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Dec. 14, to look at vehicle registration and only vehicle registration.
City Manager David Maistros told the council last week that the city is looking for input from anybody and everybody.
According to Maistros, staff has started in-house discussion. He said staff would present council with information about vehicle registration going back to the year 2000.
In other news, Maistros said the council will be getting monthly Code Enforcement reports. The reports will begin next month.
Maistros said Code Enforcement does more than write tickets. According to Maistros, code enforcement also deal with animal control and nuisance abatement matters.
