Catalina Museum for Art and History welcomes the colorful Mexican tradition celebrating life and death while honoring family members and friends who are no longer with us at the Dia De Los Muertos Family Festival on Nov. 1, from 6 – 9 p.m..

The evening will feature an art project for the kids, a tequila tasting for the adults, local food vendors, live music and cultural performances including Ballet Folklorico Quetzal. They will also be raffling off the 2023 Barbie and Ken Signature Edition Dia de los Muertos Dolls during the event.

A favorite part of the festival is the Ofrenda/Altar and Art Contest. All community members are encouraged to set up a their ofrendas for the evening for a chance to win a cash prize. All creative artists are also invited to submit their Dia de los Muertos artwork for a chance to win a cash prize. Judging will take place that evening. There is no fee to submit ofrenda or art entries. This event is free for the entire community. More info can be found online at catalinamuseum.org.
