Avalon returns to action against Fulton on Friday, Sept. 12 at home. That contest will start at 5 p.m.

Fulton will enter that contest with a 1-1 record. It knocked off Sun Valley (Sun Valley, CA) with an impressive 56-0 victory in a non-league game. That result suggests that Avalon will have its hands full.

Last year, Avalon fell to Fulton by the score of 54-24 in the second week of the season, which marked the second of three straight losses to open the season.

Avalon still finished with a strong performance. It ended with a 7-4 record but posted a 3-0 mark to win the Coastal League. It then made a deep drive to the second round before being bounced by Mojave.
