The following is the Avalon Sheriff’s Station significant incidents report for the week of Oct. 1 to Oct. 6.

October 1
• An Avalon resident reported being the victim of a forgery.
• A fixed-wing, single-engine airplane was unable to successfully land at the Catalina Airport in the Sky. The plane came to rest on the dirt road below the airport. There were three adults in the plane and fortunately no one was seriously injured.
October 2
• No significant incidents.
October 3
• At 1:57 a.m., Jessica Bryant, 44, a resident of Corona Del Mar, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
• An Avalon homeowner reported a person(or persons) had been staying in their home, in the 300 block of Clemente Avenue, without their permission.
• A Harbor Patrol Boat was stolen from Two Harbors. It was found a few hours later, approximately 12 miles from the Isthmus Pier, with its engine running.
• At 4:05 p.m., Christopher Farley, 63, a resident of Laguna Beach, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol causing an injury.
• At 8:49 p.m., Linda Gehringer, 61, a resident of Laguna Beach, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
• A business in the 200 block of Crescent Avenue reported a shirt was stolen from their store.
October 4
• An Avalon resident reported his lobster traps were damaged at Two Harbors.
• The Harbor Department at Two Harbors reported the theft of US currency from a shore boat.
• At 6:30 p.m., Henry Rodriguez, 23, a resident of Sun Valley, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
October 5
• At 11:30 p.m., Joel Gordon, 26, an Avalon resident, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
October 6
• No significant incidents.
