Community Outreach

Meeting

On June 22, Avalon Sheriff’s Station hosted a Community Outreach Meeting at Avalon Station.

The meeting was an opportunity for everyone in the community to sit and speak directly with the station commander and members of his staff.

The purpose of the meeting was to give the public an opportunity to share their ideas and concerns as we all work together to help keep Catalina Island as one of the safest communities for visitors and residents alike.

The meeting, although only attended by a handful of community members, was very productive as the sharing of information was mutually beneficial.

If you were unable to attend the meeting and you have questions, concerns or ideas regarding community policing, please feel free to write a letter, make a phone call or stop by the station and speak with Capt. Fetteroll directly.

Our next Community Outreach Meeting will be in the fall of 2016.

We hope to see you then.
