Traffic Safety Program
Traffic safety information was discussed with the businesses on the Island that rent bicycles and golf carts to our visitors.
All of the businesses are currently complying with our requests to remind visitors, the California Vehicle Code is not just for full-size vehicles on the mainland, but applies to all bicycles and golf carts in Avalon as well.
National Night Out
On Tuesday Aug. 2, Sheriff’s Station volunteers passed out candy, toys, pencils, stickers, and coloring books to children who stopped by the Sheriff’s Station.
