Another deer scenario
When I read the Catalina Island Conservancy (CIC) plans to kill all the deer on the island to best control the over-population of them, I am putting out a possible scenario instead.
How about use a gas to render them unconscious and then you can sterilize/neuter them in the field. Then it can be determined how to use the animals, like for food, etc. … not to immediately kill the animals nor would you have to subject the island to Bullets from a Helicopter. How dystopian. How unevolved. How inhumane.
