The Fifth Annual Flying Fish Festival was held the first weekend of the month. Every year the festival includes more family type activities including kayak relay races, pedal boat races, ocean science activities, touch tanks, flying fish crafts and of course the fabulous Flying Fish Tours.
The Tuna Club hosted a White Seabass Tournament the second weekend of the month with 21 boats participating. Pacific Mariners Yacht Club held a cruise to Avalon the third weekend of June with 12 boats.

With the Fourth of July falling in the middle of the week, many boaters began arriving the last week of the month in order to secure a mooring. The harbor was very festive with hundreds of flags and red, white and blue decorations. The Dinghy Parade was quite a spectacle, enhanced by several boats and dinghies participating in large weapon water fights.

A reminder to boaters using the hoist at the Mole: Please have your current registration and all safety equipment available (including plugs in place) on board prior to requesting assistance for launching. There is a $20 charge for using the hoist. Please call the Harbor Department Office to arrange this service.
