Vehicle Registration and City Permits
Avalon Sheriff’s Station has received several complaints of vehicles being driven on the streets of Avalon with expired state registration stickers and or no city permits as required by local ordinance. Allowing these infractions to occur is not fair to the people who pay their DMV and city fees for the privilege of operating a vehicle on our streets. Beginning in May, we will increase our enforcement efforts in this area to ensure compliance with state laws and city ordinances. Please do your part to ensure your stickers and permits are current.
