Long Beach Unified School District had a virtual graduation scheduled on Thursday evening for all high school seniors, including Avalon High. Avalon has been recognizing graduates with signs and a golf-cart parade, among other events available during the Coronavirus shutdown. This week’s Catalina Islander is also recognizing the graduating class with a special section.
