Catalina Island Women’s Golf Club held one of their major tournaments, Catalina Classic Golf Tournament, recently. The tournament had two flights. Teri Alexander was the 18-hole winner low gross. Carol Deets and Trudy Saldana were in a two-way tie for low net. Val Schafer was winner with low gross and Pat Hoefs low net for the 9 holes. Lunch was held at Buffalo Nickel.
