Tournament game is next week

Going into the final week of league play, Bravo’s Landscaping had locked up the League Championship. Congratulations!!
First game
They took on Coyote Joe’s in the first game of the night. Bravo’s Landscaping was up first, and scored a run on the back to back doubles from Juan Hernandez and Marco Gallegos. Coyote Joe’s answered with a run. In the second Bravo’s Landscaping used a walk, four base hits and doubles from Mario Jimenez and Juan Hernandez to score four. Coyote Joe’s kept pace with four runs of their own off two walks, two base hits and doubles from Jose Barreras and Nestor Cubillas. Bravo’s Landscaping added a run in the third off the solo homerun from Marco Gallegos. Coyote Joe’s stayed right with them with a run in the bottom of the inning off three base hits and a double from Juan De La Cruz. Bravo’s Landscaping put another run on the board in the fourth. Bravo’s Landscaping added two more runs in the sixth off a base hit, a double from Marco Gallegos and a triple from Alexandria Tran. Coyote Joe’s had their last at bat down by three. Two base hits and a walk brought home one run, but a double play ended the game with the score Coyote Joe’s 7, Bravo’s Landscaping 9. For Coyote Joe’s Jose Barreras was three for three. Gustavo Gutierrez, Nestor Cubillas, Juan De La Cruz and Omar Aguilar collected two hits. Hugh Bevins, Ron Bevins, Juan Pablo Bravo and Chela Hernandez had one hit. For Bravo’s Landscaping Marco Gallegos and Alexandria Tran collected three hits. Juan Hernandez and Sergio Vallejo contributed two hits, while Leo Aguilar, Brayan Aguilar, Mario Jimenez and Tiffany Credel had one hit.
Second game
Game two had Straight Up Builders taking on Sunset Bar & Grill. Straight Up Builders opened the game with doubles from Chuy Sillas, Brandon Franco, Uriel Casillas and Briana Morones, along with four base hits to bring home seven runs. Sunset Bar & Grill scored two runs off a base hit and doubles from Gabriel Alvarado and Robert Reyes. Sunset Bar & Grill added a run in the second off the RBI double from Carmelo Aguilar. Straight Up Builders used a walk, three base hits and a three run homerun from Uriel Castillo to bring home four in the third. Sunset Bar & Grill answered with a two run homerun from Tyler Engel. Straight Up Builders kept the offense going in the fourth with five runs off three base hits, a double from Ben Guzman and a homerun from Brandon Franco. Straight Up Builders put the game away in the fifth inning with six more runs off four base hits, and doubles from Brandon Franco, Ramon Sanchez Vela and Briana Morones. Sunset Bar & Grill had their last at bat, but left runners stranded to end the game. Final score Sunset Bar & Grill 5, Straight Up Builders 22.
For Sunset Bar & Grill Tyler Engel, Robert Reyes and Carmelo Aguilar collected two hits. Gabriel Alvarado, Ryan Adkins, Phil Lopez and Rafa Silva contributed one hit. For Straight Up Builders Briana Morones collected seven hits. Brandon Franco and Ben Guzman were four for four. Chuy Sillas and Luis Lazaro had three hits. Uriel Castillo contributed two hits, while Ramon Sanchez Vela and Bart Glass had one hit.
