Locals are buzzing about the Halloween bats on display in the Chimes Tower as the 2nd annual Bats in the Belfry event approaches. The Halloween-themed festivities will take place on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 29, in the Avalon Casino Theatre, benefiting the Catalina Chimes Tower Foundation.
Guests of the event will be in for a night of spooky treats. Wander through the new haunted house during a lively cocktail hour. Then head into the theatre for a magic show by master magician, Jonathan Levit from Now You See Me, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, and The X-Files. Guests can bid on silent auction items throughout the evening. Items up for auction include exciting travel packages, authentic Chicago Cubs jerseys, artwork, pottery, Catalina experiences and more. Finish the evening with a scary screening of Sleepy Hollow before you head out into the night … at your own risk!
