The call was like the old bat signal in the sky … “Kids need help with nap time at Catalina Kids Venture Preschool.”
The rooms at the preschool were not dark enough to let the little ones have a good nap time. Avalon Lions Club members Burney Ramming and Dave Grear installed new custom-made blinds on each window in the CKV building on Super Bowl Saturday, provided by the Avalon Lions Club.
The blinds were made to not have a cord that could tangle in a little ones’ hands and to completely darken a room.
This $1,450 donation is another example of the Avalon Lions Club serving our Avalon community. If you know of a community need or wish to become a member of the Avalon Lions Club, contact club president Burney Ramming at 310-422-1406.
