On Feb. 6, 1999, Victor Ramos (left) married Nicole (maiden name Hutton) at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church. “My husband, in a sweet gesture, reached out to you about receiving an old Feb. 1999 newspaper with our wedding announcement inside. We received it. Thank you so much,” wrote Nicole Ramos in a recent email to the Islander. In 2022, they posed with the original announcement and sent us the photo pictured above.
Pictured above is the original wedding announcement from the Feb. 19, 1999 issue of the Catalina Islander. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Father Paul Seibenand in Avalon. They honeymooned in Avalon.
